Happy New Year, sisters! 2013 has arrived, full of hope, lots of cheer and fresh starts! Are you ready?

We love a big fire around these parts… especially one where there’s a place for everyone to keep warm. What makes one even better? Roasting marshmallows and making s’mores, of course! Forget waiting for your next camping trip or even for the weather to change. Any time is a perfect time to make s’mores! And with recipe, there’s enough to treat an army. Packed with sweet flavor and a nutty bite, these S’mores Bars are perfect for parties, get-togethers, and campfires… without any of the mess!

1/2 c smooth or chunky peanut butter
1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
2 tbsp milk
4 c Cocoa Puffs cereal
3 c Golden Grahams cereal
1/2 c peanuts

In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt together the peanut butter, mini marshmallows and milk until smooth. Add cereal and nuts, then stir to coat, being careful not to break the cereal pieces.

Spoon mixture onto a large baking sheet or jelly roll pan, flattening as best you can, to cool for about 30 minutes. Break apart and serve.
