Summer is in full swing, and there are plenty of parents out there who are looking for fun and appropriate activities to do with their kids and families. Recently, my event planning company partnered with two other local businesses in Rhode Island to organize and execute a princess tea party event for children. My company, Cheeky Kiwi Event Design, took care of managing RSVPs, invoicing, decor/design, and setup/breakdown; Isabelle’s Princess Parties provided their Cinderella character as entertainment; and Laura Ink Photography documented the event, as well as offered exclusive photo packages at great prices!

We had about 13 children along with 20 adults accompanying them. Each child’s admission got them a cookie butter and jelly sandwich, a cupcake, pink lemonade, and an autographed photo of Cinderella. During the party, the princess read stories, did magic, played games, taught dances, interacted with the children, took photos, and signed autographs. Our photographer, Laura, took photos of all aspects of the event, including decor and food details, the children and their parents, and Cinderella!

It was quite a successful event and many of the parents were looking forward to the next one. Below are some photos (Credit: Laura Ink Photography) from the event!

The party took place at a gazebo in the middle of Goddard Memorial Park in East Greenwich, R.I. The gazebo was decorated with hanging pink poufs, pink and white streamers, and pink/purple/white balloons. The tables were dressed with pink tablecloths and vintage candy bowls of Smarties candy! Sandwiches and cupcakes were homemade by the princess herself!

Cinderella posed for photos with the group (and with individual children). She also read stories, did magic, signed autographs, and played games! Every little princess had so much fun!
